Those long winter months indoors keeps you out of the sun. The good news is that sunlight actually triggers the production of serotonin, so warding off depression could be as simple as getting outside and enjoying it for a little while each day.<\/li>\n<li>Melatonin \u2013 The sun\u2019s rays also trigger the production of melatonin in your body, which helps ensure a good night\u2019s sleep every night.
